Meenai Gee E produced by Naava Records depicts the misuse of power by the government and the people blinded by their lies. It gives more focus into one’s political grip than the bloodshed of this on-going war in Manipur, firmly admitting that it’s not only the government that’s at fault but also the citizens, you and I, who voted for certain candidates. To pay more attention to the next election, to the campaigns we might fall into the trap of and to vote for the right candidate. On a general note, the idea of children involving in the initial part of this song is to portray that this project/song is but a serenade sung by the children to their mother to console and solace her, who is made drench in blood and tears by the oppressor with this proxy war.
