Following this, on June 11 the company opened the ATM for maintenance but they found that cash amounting to Rs 12.38 lakh were completely destroyed. These notes were in Rs 500 and Rs 2000 currency notes.

It has been suspected that all these notes were chewed through by mice which somehow managed to get inside the machine. However, notes amounting to Rs 17.10 lakh were recovered without any damage.

Bank officials informed that the amount is an estimated amount but they are still investigating the complete issue.
